Facebook delivered a vibrant and culturally resonant experience at the AprokoNation Fiesta 2025, drawing thousands of young adults who engaged with the platform’s creator-led activities, wellness-themed interactions and immersive digital experiences.

Okay News reports that the activation highlighted how young Nigerians use Facebook to discover new interests, stay informed and build deeper connections.

The Meta-owned platform curated a dynamic presence at the annual wellness festival with installations designed to reflect Facebook’s growing relevance among young adults navigating lifestyle, health and identity in a fast-changing world.

Oluwasola Obagbemi, Meta’s Head of Communications for Sub-Saharan Africa, said the activation reinforced Facebook’s role as a space where meaningful conversations and cultural moments unfold.

“Facebook is a leading place for conversations about cultural moments around the world and more young adults in Nigeria are discovering that it is a useful place to spend their time,” she said.

“Events like the AprokoNation Fiesta offer a powerful opportunity to create spaces where young adults can get together with friends and make new connections around health, wellness and fitness. We remain committed to adding products and features that empower people to express themselves, build meaningful connections and discover new opportunities.”

A major highlight of the activation was the Facebook Wellness Booth, hosted by digital creator Eni Adeoluwa.

Visitors participated in interactive moments, social activities and a Reels Booth that encouraged short-form video creation using Facebook-themed prompts and games.

Speaking about the experience, Adeoluwa described Facebook as a platform that has helped him strengthen authentic relationships with his audience.

“Hosting the Facebook wellness booth at AprokoNation Fiesta was truly exciting. Facebook has helped me build meaningful connections with my audience. It was great engaging with young adults and creators learning how they use Facebook to discover new interests and deepen their connections,” he said.
“It’s a platform where anyone can connect with the world beyond their close friends.”

The activation carried a nostalgic Y2K-inspired theme, blending retro visual elements with modern digital culture. Content creators including Emanuella Samuel, Gina Ehikodi, Dr. Chinonso Egemba (Aproko Doctor) and Elozonam interacted with fans, tapped into trend-driven conversations and showcased the platform’s growing creator ecosystem.

AprokoNation Fiesta, now a major feature in Nigeria’s wellness and lifestyle calendar, brought together a youthful crowd for games, fitness activities and music aimed at promoting healthier living. This year’s edition continued its tradition of creating a lively space for community-building and new social connections.
