Brazil international, Philippe Coutinho has been named the ‘Player of The Year’ at Liverpool‘s end of season gig which took place on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the ECHO Arena. The former Inter Milan midfielder’s standout performance and spectacular goals helped the club through its difficult campaign this season defined by the inability to make the top four and qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. Coutinho, who joined Liverpool from Inter Milan on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 for £8.5m, also won the ‘First Team Players Player of the Year, Goal of the Year and Performance of the Year awards.
