Managing Director of the Port Harcourt Refining Company, PHRC, Dr Bafred Enjugu made the disclosure today during a visit by Governor Nyesom Wike.
Enjugu said, ”This TAM was carried out solely by our people here in Nigeria. Today, the Refinery has started production as a result of the determination of our technical personnel”.
The refinery commenced production after the completion of the first phase of Turn Around Maintenance ,TAM.
Crude oil will be supplied to the facility by sea vessels.
