Glo kicks off Laffta Fest in Benin

Announcing the debut of the ever thrill­ing comedy festival in Lagos, Globacom said that the show would feature top-rated stand-up comedians including Glo ambas­sadors such as Basket Mouth and Helen Paul as well as the newly signed Bovi and AY with a guest appearance by Salva­dor from Uganda, who would be joined by others like Okey Bakassi, I Go Die, Seyi Law, Funny Bone, Dan De Humor­ous, Julius Agwu, Buchi, Gordons, Omo Baba, Osama, Bash, and others.

From Benin, the show train would weekly move to Victoria Island, Abeo­kuta, Surulere, Port Harcourt, Ike­ja, Ibadan, Ikorodu, Egbeda, Abuja, and Ijebu-Ode. The best hands in Nigerian music who are also Glo ambassadors like Flavor, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Wande Coal, Korede Bello, D’ija, Rekaardo Banks, Pasuma, and Saheed Osupa would be on hand to add pep, while DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Neptune, DJ X Gee, DJ Spinall, DJ Switch and DJ Tor would dish out tunes from their wheels of steel.

On the modalities of joining the fun train, the company explained that the show would be open to new and exist­ing customers of the network who use up to N3000 on calls, SMS and data on the network in a month, and text ‘LOL’ and location of the show that they want to attend to 33001.
