Dino Melaye, who was among the Senators that accompanied Bukola Saraki to the CCT earlier today has come put to justify their stand and that attack on Saraki is directed to the National Assembly.

He said: “We believe this is an attack on our institution not just the senate president in the person of Bukola Saraki and we all went out there in defence of the institution.”

Melaye said although solidarity and support for Saraki could be seen as a reason for the invasion of the CCT by the lawmakers, he said support for the institution was the priority.
