Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde was a guest of the African union and One on the 27th of November at the First Ever African summit on child marriage which held at Lusaka, Zambia.

During the summit she spoke on the ways Movies and media can help eradicate child marriages from Africa.

She also with the Zambian president Edgar Lungu who stated that he’s not interested in curbing child marriage but eliminating it. Also in attendance were the Zambian First Lady, Esther Lungu, South Africa’s First Lady Tobeka Zuma and Ethiopia First Lady Roman Tesfaye. The event was also attended by Ford Foundation, UNFPA, UNICEF , the Netherlands and the Canadian government and many more.
