It has been gathered that Egypt rejected the NAF Hotel booked for them by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and preferred to put up at the Asaa Pyramid Hotel in Kaduna.

“Egypt were to stay at NAF Hotel, but they rejected it and got their embassy to get them Pyramid Hotel,” a top source informed.

The Egyptians are now lodged at the Asaa Pyramid Hotel, 13 Lafia Road off Independence Way in Kaduna.

The breezed into Kaduna after 10pm on Thursday night aboard a chartered flight and have since settled down in the northern Nigerian city.

The Super Eagles will have a closed-door session at 3pm today, while the Egyptians will have free access to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna after the Eagles have vacated the pitch from 5pm.
