President Buhari Summons Ibe Kachikwu Over Lingering Fuel Scarcity Crisis

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly summoned Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, over the lingering fuel scarcity situation in the country.

Mr Kachikwu had to shelve his scheduled interaction with the media to attend the President’s summon, Channels TV reports. It’s reported that Kachikwu was called for a brief on the supply of petroleum products across the country.

Channels Tv however said the outcome of the meeting was not revealed.

Spokesperson of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr Garbadeen Mohammed, said there is nothing unusual about the summons, as there is need for constant interaction between both of them.
