The striker’s agent had claimed talks were ongoing for a move to Los Blancos but the Bavarians have said a capital NO to this.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has categorically denied Robert Lewandowski is set to swap Bayern Munich for Real Madrid next season, stating the striker is not for sale at any price.

The Poland international has long been a target for the Bernabeu club since his days at Borussia Dortmund, with rumours continuing to link him with a move to the Spanish capital after he joined Bayern.

Interest appears to have come to a head in recent days, however, withLewandowski’s agent claiming his client has been in talks with Madrid ahead of a massive summer transfer to los Blancos.

But Bayern chairman Rummenigge has moved swiftly to state Bayern’s prized asset is not for sale under any circumstances.

“One thing I know for sure. Lewandowski will play at Bayern Munich in the next season. No one must make thoughts about that,”he told Kicker.

“The decision is like: We will not give Robert Lewandowski to another club, no matter what they will offer to us. We have no breaking point at Robert.”

Lewandowski has come off the back of a season in which he netted 30 goals in 32 league outings, firing Bayern to a fourth-straight Bundesliga title and claiming the top scorer crown in the process
