Nollywood actress Sharon Okpamen has died following complications after childbirth.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by popular movie producer Stanley Ontop, who shared the devastating update on his Instagram page.
According to reports, the Edo-born actress and filmmaker, reportedly fell into a coma after giving birth and tragically did not recover.
In his post, Ontop expressed his deep sorrow over the loss, writing, “Nollywood Actor and Producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed on. It’s a sad day for Nollywood & the Edo entertainment industry. Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur & humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry. May her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen @sharonokpamen It can only get better. Shalom!!!”
