ABUJA, NIGERIA – The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially welcomed former Kano State governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso into its ranks, describing his defection as a major boost to the party’s growing coalition ahead of future elections, Okay News reports.
In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said Kwankwaso’s decision reflects the sentiments of many Nigerians who are seeking leadership that understands everyday challenges and is prepared to address them.
