Again! Atletico Madrid defender, Diego Godin turns down Manchester United offer

Diego Godin, Atletico Madrid captain has rejected an offer to move to Premier League club, Manchester United.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the 32-year-old defender was offered a two-year contract worth £4.3m (€4.8m) per season by the premier league club but the Uruguay defender rejected the offer.

During the summer transfer window former Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho offered the defender a contract worth £6.3m (€7m) per season but was rejected.

okay understands that Godin will be out of contract at the end of the season but has only received the offer of a one-year extension plus the option for a further year from his current club.
