Anambra First Lady Issues Children’s Day Message

ANAMBRA, Nigeria – The wife of the governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nonye Soludo, issued a press statement on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, directing Nigerian children to pursue education and maintain discipline to mark the annual Children’s Day celebration.

Okay News reports that Soludo, acting in her capacity as the founder of the non-governmental organization Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, released the message to align with the 2026 theme focusing on inclusion for every Nigerian child across all socioeconomic backgrounds.

“As we mark Children’s Day today, we celebrate the bold dreams, brilliance, and limitless potential of every Anambra child,” Soludo said.

“Our children are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the pride and future of Anambra State. With the right education, guidance, innovation, and opportunities, there is no limit to what they can achieve,” Soludo said.

“To every Anambra child out there: believe in yourself, stay curious, work hard, and never stop dreaming. The future is bright, and it belongs to you. Grab it with both hands. Happy Children’s Day,” Soludo said.

The commemoration of Children’s Day occurs globally on May 27.
