Awka, Anambra – Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has approved the appointment of key officials and special advisers to serve in his administration, moving quickly to consolidate governance for his newly inaugurated second term.
Okay News reports that the appointments, which cut across critical sectors like administration, justice, health, and security, were announced on Monday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime. Among the top appointments are Mrs. Ngozi Iwouno, who takes over as the Head of Service, and Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, who will serve as the state’s Attorney-General.
The governor also appointed Dr. Ben Nwankwo as Chief of Staff, Joachin Anetoh as Principal Secretary, and several special advisers covering areas like innovation, medicals, and community security.
These strategic appointments follow the governor’s recent history-making decision to appoint 39-year-old Chiamaka Nnake as the first female Secretary to the State Government.
Soludo, who recently dissolved his first-term cabinet following his swearing-in ceremony, has repeatedly emphasized his commitment to continuity and driving his economic transformation and infrastructure development agenda across Anambra State.
