Artistes That Started With Davido But Got Stucked With Wizkid Later

A lot of artistes have come, so stayed while some faded away.

In this article am compiling few acts that started with Davido, which means as a new entry in the industry they hooked up with Davido and later went away and got hooked up with Wizkid till now. See below;

1. Runtown

The ‘Gallardo’ hit maker might still be cool with the DMW leader, but ever since the “Gallardo” single was made (the single that brought Runtown to limelight) the business was closed.

Although stories that Davido bought ‘Aye’ from him and Davido brought the idea of sell it to me, I give you a hit song which Runtown came out to say its nobody’s business (a phrase agreeing to the story partially).

Runtown moved on to release a monster single ‘Bend Down Pause’ featuring Wizkid that was the song for the moment for a long time, Runtown went on to release his debut album ‘Ghetto University’ which had Wizkid appearing twice on the album, with the previously released single ‘Bend Down Pause’ and a new one ‘Lagos To Kampala’, meanwhile Davido was also on the album but with the same ‘Gallardo’ single.

2. Orezi

Alhaji Orezi could also be on my 2-man list has he started with Davido, with the ‘Shuperu’ single (but this single is not the single that brought him to limelight). Orezi did some new sounds after that and made waves but Orezi got the ‘You Garrit’ remix featuring Wizkid and it started as he got Wizkid again on ‘Ogede’ featuring Timaya as well.

Orezi released his debut album as well and didn’t get Davido on it and Wizkid showed.

But wait Davido is one of the best in bringing new acts to lime light example are Mayorkun and Dremo never underrate the power of a Davido feature.
