Former Big Brother Naija star Mike Edwards has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to supporters after emerging victorious in his boxing match debut.
Edwards, who was the runner-up in BBNaija season 4, recently transitioned into professional boxing, joining the Cruiserweight division under Misfits Boxing in April.
The highly anticipated debut took place, with Edwards triumphing over his opponent, Jake Cornish.
Following the match, Edwards took to Instagram to share his excitement and appreciation for the support he received.
In his post, he acknowledged the key roles played by those who stood by him throughout his journey.
“Survive and Advance. A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support me and to all of you who tuned in from home. I hope I made you proud! They say there’s no test without a testimony, and I truly couldn’t have done this without God’s will,” Edwards wrote.
