The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has published the official list of approved venues for the 2025 Physical Verification Exercise for shortlisted applicants across Nigeria.
Candidates are strictly instructed to appear only at their designated state command locations, as the verification exercise will be conducted simultaneously in all states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
This nationwide verification exercise covers applicants under the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
Important Notice to All Shortlisted Applicants
Applicants must:
- Report only to the verification centre assigned to their state of origin or state of application
- Bring all required documents, originals and photocopies
- Arrive early, as verification officers will operate on strict schedules
- Follow security and administrative instructions at all centres
The CDCFIB warns that appearing at the wrong verification centre may lead to automatic disqualification.

Final Guidance for All Applicants
The CDCFIB reiterates that:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be attended to
- Only designated centres will conduct verification
- Applicants must bring required documents and be punctual
- No changes to assigned verification locations will be allowed
The Physical Verification Exercise is a mandatory step in the recruitment process for all agencies under the CDCFIB.
