Cross River Records Third Suspected Case of Monkeypox

Another suspected case of Monkeypox has been recorded in Cross River, pilling the number of cases to three.

The Director General of the State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr Betta Edu, said the latest case was recorded in Ikom area.

According to him, the suspect is a 28-year female local government worker.

She noted that the blood sample had been taken and handed over to the disease surveillance and notification officer.
