The last has not been heard of the ongoing controversy between music artiste Davido and his baby mama, Ms. Sophie Momodu.

In a lengthy narrative issued on Sunday night, Davido had alleged that Sophia lost custody of the baby Imade after a medical report confirmed that her breast milk was contaminated with cannabis. According to Davido, “Imade was in her custody for two straight months, unchallenged and uninterrupted, until the baby took badly and severely ill in July. Imade cried, ceaselessly, for 48 hours. She was rushed to the hospital where her condition confounded medical experts. Several tests were conducted on her and later on the mother. Medical reports, herein attached, proved that Sophia’s blood was polluted to the maximum level with cannabis and she had by the process of breast feeding infected her child with complicated medical conditions associated with the use of alcohol and especially cannabis.”

Davido’s response came after Publisher of Ovation International, Chief Dele Momodu who is an uncle to Sophie gave a detailed account of what actually transpired in the controversial events that led to Davido and his family members being barred by security agents from travelling abroad with the baby without Sophie Momodu’s express permission.

But in a new twist on Tuesday, lawyers to Sophie Momodu have written to the clinic where the test was purportedly conducted on Sophie Momodu demanding a copy of the said pathology report copiously cited by Davido.

In a letter to the clinic by S.O. Ajayi & Co, the lawyers noted that “Our client gained knowledge of this Pathology Report that your company issued concerning her, for the first time on the social media on Sunday the 3rd of January, 2016. We have our client’s instruction to request you to promptly furnish her with the original copy of the above mentioned Pathology Report, as the said Pathology Report was never given to her.”
