DJ Cuppy, the disc jockey and daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, has announced the passing of her maternal grandmother, Cecilia Abosede Attah.
She shared the sad news with her followers on her social media pages on Tuesday.
In her heartfelt tribute, DJ Cuppy praised her late grandmother for the profound impact she had on raising her mother, Nana Otedola, and expressed her comfort in the belief that her grandmother is now at peace in heaven.
“My mummy’s mother has passed away. I am finding comfort knowing that she is in heaven looking down on us with love. What a life she lived. I am so grateful for the way she shaped my mum who then shaped me,” Cuppy wrote.
The DJ further reflected on the enduring legacy and spirit of her grandmother, acknowledging the strength and guidance that her grandmother imparted to her family.
“I am praying for my very own sudden season of change, but we already know that our God is good all the time. Grandma Kaduna, your spirit lives on, guiding and comforting us,” she added.
