Top British pop singer, Ed Sheeran, has announced quitting twitter, stating that most users use the platform to say mean things to him.
Ed Sheeran told The Sun on Tuesday, that he has quit twitter because whenever he goes to the social media page, all he sees are words that completely ruins his day.
“”I’ve actually come off Twitter completely. I can’t read it. “I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things.”
The ‘Shape of you’ singer, explained further that whenever he checks his account, he wonders why people dislike him so much and cannot afford to read vile post about him anymore.
“Twitter’s a platform for that. One comment ruins your day. But that’s why I’ve come off it. The head-f… for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much.”
