Even If I Retire Today, You’re Still Not On My Level – Wizkid to Davido

By Damilola A.

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, ignited a heated exchange with his colleague Davido on X platform on Monday night, asserting his superiority in the music industry.

In the exchange, Wizkid made a bold claim, stating that even if he were to retire from the music scene immediately, Davido would still not reach his level of success.

He referred to Davido as his “boy” and characterized him as an influencer with a songwriter, seemingly downplaying his musical prowess.

“I got nun to say to u my boy! I can retire today and you still not on my level. You be influencer with a song writer. Wish u well,” Wizkid’s statement read.
