By Farouk Mohammed

A gay couple, Biff Chaplow and Trystan Reese, have expressed delight as they anticipate the birth of their first child together.

The couple, who are parents to two adopted children, Hailey and Riley, revealed that they have always yearned for a child of their own.

According to reports, one of the partners, Trystan, who is a transgender, first conceived in 2016 but suffered a miscarriage at six weeks.

They waited a year before trying to have another baby, but due to Trystan’s medical condition, he had to go off testosterone.

It paid off as the married couple, who live in Portland, Oregon, have now confirmed that Trystan is due this summer.
