Governor Ganduje Swears-in LG Chairmen

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has sworn-in the newly elected local government chairmen.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) won all 44 seats available in the Kano’s local government elections held on Saturday.

Chairman, Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC), Prof. Garba Sheka, announced the results on Sunday.

The Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Murtala Sule Garo, described the event as historic and a testimony that Kano belongs to APC.
