Nigerian singer Harrysong has broken his silence on the rumors surrounding his marriage, responding to leaked WhatsApp chats that circulated on social media earlier this week.
The alleged messages between Harrysong and his wife, Alexer Perez Gopa, hinted at a troubled relationship, with discussions about pregnancy and accusations of infidelity.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Harrysong acknowledged the existence of marital struggles but called for privacy and understanding during this challenging time.
In his post, he stated, “After much reflection and discussion with my family, I have decided to put out this to my fans and well-wishers. While this is undoubtedly a challenging time for my family on the stories making round on social media of the marital problems my wife and I are having, I am appealing to members of the public to respect my family’s privacy this period and also to kindly request for your utmost understanding, pls. Thanks for the love and support.”
The leaked WhatsApp chats had shown Harrysong allegedly urging his wife to undergo an abortion and admitting to having multiple relationships outside of his marriage.
