I Don’t Support Lies – Oritsefemi’s Ex-Manager Denies His Claims on Housing Burna Boy, Selling Car to D’Banj

By Damilola A.

Ijoba Danku, the former manager of Nigerian singer Oritsefemi, has denied recent claims made by the artist in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo. Oritsefemi had alleged that he housed Burna Boy during a family dispute and sold a Prado Jeep to D’banj. He also accused Danku of fraud and betrayal.

In a rebuttal during an appearance on Doyin’s Corner podcast, Danku dismissed Oritsefemi’s statements as false. “Oritsefemi did not sell any Prado to D’banj. I do not support lies. Burna Boy never slept in Oritsefemi’s house for once,” Danku said.

He questioned the veracity of Oritsefemi’s claims about helping Burna Boy during a fallout with his mother, saying, “How would he claim he helped Burna Boy during his fallout with his mum, did he do family meeting with them?”

As of now, Oritsefemi has not responded to Danku’s counterclaims.

This dispute follows another controversy involving Oritsefemi. The singer recently alleged that his ex-wife, Nabila Fash, suffered 21 miscarriages during their marriage. Fash has threatened to sue Oritsefemi over these allegations, describing them as “concocted lies designed to damage my character and bring me to public ridicule.”

Oritsefemi and Fash were married in 2017, but their marriage faced significant challenges in 2021 due to allegations of infidelity.

In 2022, Fash filed for divorce from Oritsefemi. In 2017, Danku revealed that he had introduced Oritsefemi to Fash.

The pair had collaborated on numerous projects, including Oritsefemi’s breakout single ‘Double Wahala’.
