I Got Married A Virgin at 33, My Marriage Crashed Within A Year – Chigul Opens Up

Popular Nigerian comedienne and On-Air Presenter (OAP), Chigul has revealed that despite getting married a virgin at 33, her marriage crashed within a year.

Chigul, born Chioma Omeruah, revealed this during Kemi Adetiba’s King Women, adding that her mother never approved of her divorce and it affected their relationship.

The comedienne, who is the daughter of former Anambra state governor, Samson Emeka Omeruah, also talked about how she consistently struggled with her academics and how she had to switch to something she was passionate about.

Her breakthrough came to be after her comic voicenotes went viral in the country. This opened doors of opportunities for her in the entertainment industry. She has featured in movies such as Road to Yesterday and Banana Island Ghost among other shows.
