Nigerian singer, Oladapo Oyebanjo also known as D’banj, has said he is innocent of the rape allegation against him until proven guilty.
The singer was accused of rape by one Seyitan Babatayo in December 2018.
D’banj had earlier denied the allegation made by Babatayo, seeking for an apology and the sum of N100m in damages.
In a post shared on all his social media pages on Monday, he shared a video on Instagram singing his hit song “Olorun Maje”.
He captioned the video: “Innocent until proven guilty…., STOP SOCIAL MEDIA TRIAL #SAY NO TO RAPE AND HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION”
