‘Is Your Husband Missing?’ – Dayo Amusa Responds to Questions About Her Child’s Father

By Damilola A.

Dayo Amusa, popular Nollywood actress, has addressed public curiosity regarding the identity of her child’s father following the recent birth of her first child in the United States on November 18.

The actress, speaking during a TikTok live session, explained that she has chosen not to disclose the father’s identity, citing a desire to “maintain my peace” and protect her happiness.

Amusa’s decision comes amid widespread speculation and inquiries from social media users eager to know more about her personal life.

“I realized that some people are so interested in knowing who the father of my child is. Is your husband missing?” Amusa said during the session.

She emphasized that the father’s identity is a private matter and not something she feels compelled to share publicly. “The child is not a fruit that just fell from heaven. He definitely has a father. It is not compulsory you congratulate me, do not bother.”

Amusa also noted that while she is in the public eye, her personal life, including her relationship, remains off-limits to public scrutiny.

“I am the one in the public eye, not my husband. I would only let out what I want to let out. I want to maintain my peace, that is why my personal life is undisclosed.”

Expressing her joy at becoming a mother, the actress referred to the new chapter in her life as an exciting journey, saying, “I have a new name now.”
