Italian govt gives Serie A go-ahead to resume on June 20

The Sports Minister of Italy, Vincenzo Spadafora, has announced that Serie A can resume action on June 20.

Spadafora made this resumption after a meeting with Italian football chiefs.

He said: “The Technical and Scientific Committee gave its agreement on the protocol and the federation assured me that it had a plan B and a plan C.

“In the light of these considerations, the championship can resume on June 20.”

Okay.ng recalls that the Serie A was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
