I’ve Never Taken Bribe, It’s a Taboo – Police PRO, Adejobi

By Adamu Abubakar Isa

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has urged his colleagues to reject bribery. In a response to a post on his X handle on Sunday, May 19, Adejobi stated that he has never accepted a bribe, emphasizing that it is a taboo for him as a royal prince.

Adejobi responded to a question from Valentine Kruze, who asked if he had ever taken a bribe. Adejobi replied, “No, it’s a taboo for a royal prince to take a bribe. Taking bribe definitely makes someone somewhere cry for many reasons, and it’s ungodly to do so.”

Adejobi emphasized that one’s main purpose in life is to put smiles on people’s faces, which is godly and rewarding. He added that this is his personal principle and a call to duty, and he preaches this to his colleagues and many others always.

Adejobi’s statement is a call to integrity and ethical conduct for law enforcement officers, encouraging them to remain steadfast and purposeful in their duties.
