‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ is reported to be halted again amid Kanye West hospitalization

E! has reportedly halted production on Keeping With the Kardashians following Kanye West ‘s recent hospitalization. Kim Kardashian is currently “rethinking everything” and has been in “bad shape” since being robbed at gunpoint in Paris back in October, TMZ reported on Tuesday. The series will remain on hiatus through the end of the year, though sources claim the pause in production could possibly be extended.

Producers are currently sitting on “enough footage” to meet the series commitment. The original plan, however, was to keep filming the Kardashian family through the holidays. Amid West’s hospitalization, that will no longer be the case as TMZ ‘s sources confirm there is “no real hope of shooting anything.”

The series was placed on hiatus in October after Kardashian was held at gunpoint inside the family’s Paris apartment, with Entertainment Tonight reporting that cameras started rolling again later that month. Kardashian “did not participate” in the briefly resumed production.

Kardashian has remained mostly absent from social media and public appearances since the robbery while she and the rest of the family tweak their security detail . At the top of the month, Kardashian and West reportedly parted ways with their longtime bodyguard, Pascal Duvier. “Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye,” a source told Entertainment Tonight . “It’s a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn’t take any more chances.” Duvier had been a member of the family’s security detail for years, working with West since 2012 and Kardashian since 2013.
