Ambode-Official

The Lagos State government has announced that the movement restriction mandate customary for environmental sanitation, will be cancelled on Saturday to enable a hitch-free inauguration of the incoming Governor of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode, and the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.

Commissioner for the Environment, Tunji Bello, explained that the move was made to allow Nigerians to fully participate in the inauguration and other planned ceremonies, Punch reports.

He further stated that “the cancellation would allow for easy transportation of fuel from tank farms in the state to other parts of the country.”
