Lalong relaxes curfew in Jos North, Jos South & Bassa

Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, has announced the relaxation of the 24-hour curfew imposed in Jos North Local Government Area of the state.

The governor during a statewide broadcast in the early hours of Monday, today, said the curfew is now from dusk to dawn.

Also, he said the curfew in Jos South & Bassa will be observed from 10pm to 6am.

“The curfew in Jos North is to be relaxed. Beginning from 30th Aug. 2021, the curfew shall be enforced from 6pm – 6am. The curfew in Jos South & Bassa is to also be further relaxed. As from 30th Aug 2021, the curfew shall be enforced between 10pm – 6am,” he announced.

According to the governor, the review will take effect from today, Monday, 30th August 2021.
