Legal Battle Brews As Jarvis Moves Against Peller For Damaging Allegations

By Oluwadara Akingbohungbe

Popular Nigerian TikTok creator, Amadou Elizabeth, widely known by her stage name Jadrolita or Jarvis, has threatened to take legal action against fellow content creator Hamzat Habeeb, also known as Peller, following allegations linking her to money laundering activities.

In a viral TikTok livestream, Peller claimed that illicit financial transactions allegedly take place on the platform through its digital gifting feature and suggested that Jarvis might have been involved in such acts. Clips from the livestream have since circulated widely across various social media platforms, sparking heated online debates among their followers.

During the livestream, Peller reportedly stated that he once believed Jarvis’s wealth came from legitimate earnings until she “revealed the secret.” He further alleged that a supporter who frequently sent him TikTok gifts once proposed a 50-50 share of the proceeds, which he declined—calling it an example of how “money laundering operates through TikTok gifting.”

However, the controversy appeared to have cooled briefly when both creators interacted amicably online, suggesting a reconciliation. But the issue resurfaced after Aiso Entertainment, the management company representing Jarvis, released an official statement on Sunday condemning Peller’s allegations.

Okay News reports that the management described the claims as false, defamatory, and damaging to Jarvis’s reputation. “The management of Jadrolita, alongside Jadrolita herself, unequivocally refutes this egregious claim in its entirety,” the statement read.

The entertainment firm stressed that Jarvis “has never engaged in any form of illicit financial conduct” and demanded that Peller issue a public apology within 48 hours. “We hereby demand that Peller and his management issue an immediate, unconditional, and publicly disseminated apology to Jadrolita and her team,” the statement added.

Aiso Entertainment further warned that failure to retract the statements would lead to legal action, describing the accusations as “a deliberate attempt to sabotage the creator’s reputation.”

The social media feud has since reignited discussions on the credibility of content creators and the use of digital gifting systems on platforms such as TikTok, which are increasingly under scrutiny for potential misuse.
