Missing Boy Found Dead in Zaria, Police Vow to Hunt Down Killers

The Kaduna State Police Command has confirmed the finding of a missing child, a ten-year-old boy, who got separated from his parents during a visit to Kwanar Dangoma neighborhood in Zaria town.

The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansur Hassan, stated that they were contacted after the discovery of the missing child, who was found unconscious in a bush with bruises and other injuries.

It was reported on Wednesday that the child, Ibrahim Muntaqa Mohammed, was said to have a condition described as autistic. He was discovered missing when he left home around 4 pm in Zaria.

However, there were suspicions of bodily harm, although there were injuries observed on his body.

ASP Mansur Hassan mentioned that the child had traveled from Kano before this unfortunate incident occurred.

He noted that investigations are ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident and to provide assistance to the affected community members.

Furthermore, no one has been arrested yet, but efforts are being made to ascertain the circumstances and provide the child with necessary care under parental guidance.
