Nigerian singer, Naira Marley was set to perform at a concert in Dublin but the event was cancel due to gang violence.
The Police in Dublin stopped the show after a gang of youths were seen running out of the premises in the early hours of Sunday morning.
However, the incident happened before Naira Marley took to the stage to perform.
The police spokesman revealed that investigations are ongoing and a man in his early 20s was arrested in connection with the incident.
He said:
Gardai are investigating an incident where a large number of male youths congregated outside a premises on Adam Court, Dublin 2 at approximately 1am on 7 July 2019.
A number of offensive weapons were located after the youths departed and were seized by Gardaí. One male in his early 20s was arrested and was charged in relation to this offence. Investigations are ongoing.
