The tension between Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill has cooled down since their explosive break up, and have even been in communication with each other! But are they actually back together? The truth may shock you!

Nicki Minaj

In the first week of January, Nicki Minaj declared to the world that her relationship with Meek Mill was broken. In the space of an instant, a slew of suitors slid into her DMs, some even brave enough to show their lust in the open — i.e. Soulja Boy , former beau Safaree . On Wednesday though, rumors were swirling about that the longtime couple were back together. One source close to Minaj even suggested that Meek had never even lost his way into her bodacious heart.

Celebrity gossip site MediaTakeOut got tipped that the breakup might have been all staged.

“I don’t think they ever even broke up. Nicki was in the studio all last week and she was texting with [Meek]. He even came by and picked her up,” the anonymous person said. Asked when they got back together, they said, “I don’t know – it’s probably all just [publicity]. I don’t think they ever broke up.”

There’s no way to confirm this though since Minaj has made her status clear . Still, Hollywood Life reports that Meek has been acting up ever since the breakup. Sources said his former flame is worried sick about him posting ” belligerent videos on social media” and wasting time in the club “turning up and partying with his boys.”

“Meek isn’t even a drinker like that and Nicki fears that if he keeps this up he’s going to do something stupid,” they said.

Just this week, the Philly rapper released a preview from his upcoming “DC4.5” mixtape. Do you believe Nicki is free or nah?
