National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said that Nigeria is heading towards a new moral threshold and religion has an important role to play in the effort.

In his Christmas message, Tinubu said “The lessons of humility, selflessness, humanity and meekness that we glean from the evergreen Christmas story must not depart from our relationships here on earth.

“Nigeria is at the cusp of a new moral threshold and the role of religion in making a success of this effort is critical. While wishing Nigerians a merry Christmas we must not forget that Nigeria needs us to contribute our quota in making it achieve greatness.”

Tinubu advised Nigerians to make sacrifices necessary and appropriate to ensure that this new political dispensation is a success.

He said Nigerians should completely embrace the progressive change wave in the country.
