Nigerians React as MTN Restores Debts Cancelled by System Glitch

Nigerians have taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to decry restoration of all outstanding debts cancelled by MTN Nigeria.

Okay.ng reports that many Nigerians had commended the telecommunication company for its ‘kind gesture.’

But MTN Nigeria shattered many hearts when it issued a statement to the effect that a system glitch that on Saturday, thereby causing the ‘cancellation’ of debts owed by some users.

A check by our correspondent on Monday morning showed that all outstanding balances have been restored.
