Famous Nollywood thespians, Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs, have revealed that the tip to a successful marriage is respecting one another and being friends.
The couple who have been married since ‘forever’ took the platform on HipTV red carpet to educate newly-wedded couples and intending couples on how their marriage has remained a success.
According to Joke Silva, who is also a judge on the popular MTN Project Fame West Africa reality TV show, “Apart from being lovers, we are very good friends. We’ve learnt over the years to respect each other, and the respect keeps growing.”
Nollywood genius Olu Jacobs added that “Quite frankly, that’s it. Friendship is the strongest and respect. You care about each other. We are lucky, and again we worked at it. You have to work.”
