The “If You Ask Me” Crooner, Omawunmi is pushing hard for the release of her third studio album.
Omawumi whose debut and sophomore albums ‘Wonder woman’ and ‘Lasso of truth’ dropped in 2009 and 2013 respectively emphasised the fact that her third album is long overdue.
According to the Afrocentric singer, her album titled ‘Timeless’ will be released on the 22nd of March 2017.
Recalling on the process of making the album ‘Timeless’, Omawumi reveald she travelled to 4 or 5 cities across the world to record the album. On the choice of title, Omawumi states she was not restricted by trends nor time.
She just put her whole creativity into making the body of art which will be released under Cabal Entertainment, a company owned by Entertainment moguls Chris Ubosi and Obi Asika. Cabal has an affiliation to Roc Nation Africa and will be responsible for managing Omawumi’s brand and projecting it to the international community.
