Singer Omawumi is definitely making up for lost time. This is obvious in the collaborations she may or may not have had in recent times.
First, she released pics of herself and Beninese singing legend Angelique Kidjo shooting a video together sometime last year. While we had not gotten over that piece of news, she dropped her own version of Adele’s Hello which is considered by many to be the best version by Nigerian act.
She was also spotted in the studio recording with another African great Mali’s Salif Keita. The song is said to be produced by Cobhams Asuquo.
With the collaborations Omawumi has so far not to talk about her own songs, one can only imagine how the album will be. Someone tell Madam Omawumi to release it already!
