Ovie Omo-Agege elected deputy Senate President

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator, Ovie Omo-Agege, has been elected as deputy President of the 9th Senate.

Okay.ng understands that Omo-Agege secured 68 votes in the election to defeat Ike Ekweremadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 37 votes.

Earlier, Ahmad Lawan, was elected as Senate President.
