Reaction trails Sowore’s arrest by DSS

By Farouk Mohammed

Nigerians are reacting to the arrest of Omowole Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 general elections, by Department of State Services (DSS).

In an earlier news, Okay.ng reported that Sowore was arrested in the early hours of Saturday at about 1.25 a.m.

Sowore tweeted a distress message saying “DSS invades Sowore’s”.

His online medium, Saraha Reporters confirmed in a report that his phone was forcefully taken from him.

Reacting to this, Nigerians on Twitter called for the release of the activist.
