Samuel Eto’o has become the first football icon to visit Peter Okoye at his new Banana Island mansion in Ikoyi, Lagos.

From the photos shared on his Instagram, the P-Square member noted that the Cameroonian star, who he has a great relationship with, flew into the country recently and visited the mansion which the singer gifted himself on his 35th birthday this year.

“ Guess who came thru ?” the singer captioned one of the photos with the footballer, and in another, added, “ At home With @setoo9 .”

The duo have maintained an enviable friendship over time.

In 2016, Peter Okoye went on a promotional tour in Europe with the world class footballer and shortly after, reports surfaced that the duo were working on Okoye’s football club.

A month later, the singer was joined by a handful of Nigerian entertainers, including AY Makun and Osita Iheme, for Eto’o’s charity match in Turkey .

It has been a while since the footballer and the singer were spotted together. But now, Okoye has confirmed that their relationship keeps waxing stronger, as the footballer flew in to pay in a visit after the long lay off.
