Saraki Leads Senators to Pay Solidarity Visit to Ekweremadu

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday led some senators on a solidarity visit to the Apo Legislative Quarters residence of Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu.

Ekweremadu’s house has been under a siege by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and men of the Nigeria Police.

Saraki had told lawmakers at the plenary that a solidarity visit would be paid to Ekweremadu.

Recall that operatives of the Department of State Services and men of the Nigeria Police had laid siege to the Abuja home of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
The security operatives arrived at the home in the early hours of Tuesday.
