Teniola Apata, popularly known as ‘Teni’ has revealed why she recorded her hit song “Uyo Meyo”.

The Nigerian singer and songwriter explained the inspiration behind her song during an interview with newsmen.

Teni said she recorded the song for her graduation ceremony, adding that it took her seven years to graduate from the University.

“I recorded Uyo Meyo for my graduation ceremony because it took me seven years to graduate. My sisters graduated before me; so, it was a big deal for me on the day I graduated. I did the song for myself and everyone who hopes to achieve something”
