Tobilola Adeyemi Popularly know as Toby Grey has explained how she got the name ‘Grey’ to her stage name during an interview she had with us.
She said ‘Grey’ happens to be a colour which sounded cool to her, and also serves as a balance for her music as well. Read what she said below;
“I Picked the color cos it sounded cool, then I gave it a meaning. “Grey is an intermediate color between black and white..black for me signifies local or African while white signifies international or foreign…this means that my music serves as a balance between the two and cuts across borders “
