Ekelle is a Toronto based artist who brands her style as hood pop – a popular music feel with a street edge. We would like to submit her latest video for her song ‘Houd’ remix for consideration.
This remix is produced by Jelan Abrams, features local artist Marie Bee and was shot by Sonny Visual. The reason for this video is to celebrate the end of Ekelle’s ‘One Song a Month’ campaign that she started back in August 2017.
Ekelle challenged herself to put out a unique song each month accompanied by a self shot music video, the ‘Houd’ remix is the last one, so she decided to go out with a bang! The video is live as of February 21, 2018.
Ekelle will release her debut album in the spring of 2018.
